Insurance
Dr. Ables is not currently on any insurance panels. Payment is due directly to Dr. Ables at time of service.
A portion of each appointment fee may be reimbursable by your insurance plan. Please contact your insurance provider beforehand to ensure that your plan offers reimbursement options. We will assist with maximizing reimbursements and provide a detailed invoice (“superbill”) for you to submit to your insurance.
Patients are responsible for confirming coverage beforehand and filing insurance claims. All fees are due at the time of service and are payable by cash, check, debit or credit card.

Free
This option is for anyone seeking treatment with this practice. Dr Ables will collect some basic information and you will have the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions. Please note that Dr. Ables cannot provide any medical advice during this session.

This is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with the goal of formulating an initial diagnostic impression and personalized treatment plan. Dr Ables will review your intake paperwork and past treatment/medical records (if available) beforehand. Any prescriptions and/or lab orders will be sent electronically after the appointment.

This is a comprehensive medication follow up. Typically, these appointments are scheduled once per month when first starting treatment. For patients who have achieved more stability, appointment frequency can usually be spaced out to once every two or three months.
Missed Appointment Policy
Missed appointments hamper our efforts to be efficient and limit access to care for other patients. Our office policy is therefore to charge half of the appointment fee for no-shows or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Being more than 10 minutes late for your appointment will constitute a no-show.
